Responsibilities

- Responsible for conducting the engine watch and for the safe execution of the items

- Responsible for the Engine Room Alarm

- Keep a log of weather and wind conditions

- Monitoring the Central Control Room power distribution

Requirements

- Certificate of Competency Officer STCW III/1

- Nautical Institute approved Dp induction course

- Conversant of quality and safety management

- Mechanical background with knowledge about diesel engines

- Proficient in English (spoken and written)

- Good interpersonal skills and proactive
