Assistant Driller

Our client is currently looking to hire an Assistant Driller.

Responsibilities

* Maintaining accurate records of tubular and tool dimensions

* Organize and update the drilling equipment store

* Constant exchange with the Driller, and other department heads.

* Regular checks of various gauges necessary to the drilling operations; assisting the Driller in drawing up logs and records.

* Supporting the Driller at the Driller's console during drilling operations.

* Assisting with the preparation of equipment.

* Organizing and supervising the drilling crews for all operations.

* Assisting the Driller during an emergency or well control situation; assist in the well killing operations.

* Assisting in supervision of Preventive Maintenance carried out on drilling equipment.

* Troubleshooting and if necessary repairs on drilling equipment.

* Monitoring mud systems and supervising solids control equipment and mud mixing operation.

* Assisting in the planning, organization and execution of rig move operations.

* Operating drilling and associated equipment as directed by the Driller,

Requirements

-BOSIET

-MIST

-CA EBS

-Offshore Medical

-IWCF Level 3 or 4, ideally combined Surface and Subsea.
