As an electician you will be assisting the Chief Electrician in the installation, maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

* Conduct inspections and maintenance on electrical equipment on a daily basis

* Perform periodic maintenance according to the Rig Maintenance System (RMS) guidelines

* Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all power generation and distribution equipment

* Assist with the maintenance and repair of general rig equipment

* Install new equipment as required, with regards to electrical wiring, fixtures and junction boxes, etc.

* Assist in performing and interpreting power calculations, power factor, insulation tests, and positive relay tests as required

* Oversight of timely maintenance execution on assigned assets

Requirements

* Highschool diploma or equivalent.

* Knowledge of all technical calculations required for electrical operations

* basic computer skills

Salary per year

$ 98,000
